How to

Once you have signed up simply login using your username and password that was emailed to you. NOTE: please check your spam folder if using email accounts from AOL, MSN and Yahoo.

Now that you have logged in you can now go to the presentation tab and select the theme you wish to use for your blog.

Plugins

To enable the contact form, Flickr images, YouTube videos, tag cloud, YouTube videos and  the rss buttons you will need to select the plugins tab under Manage and activate these blog features if they are not already set for you.. Most of the plugins are configurable through the options tab in your admin panel and we would recommend that you activate all plugs if they are not all ready activated.

Flickr Images

To be able to use the flickr images manager you must have a flickr account, where your images are stored. To set up your flickr account in your blog select the options tab and then select flickr from the sub menu that appears underneath.

Once you have associated your blog account with your flickr account click the finish button and then set your options in the following way.

Contact Form

To set up your contact form select the options tab and then select the sub menu link “Contact Form III”. Set up your email account and other options and click save. To emabed your contact form in a page create a new page and call it something like “Contact me” now add the following tag into the page [”contactform” ] without the ” “.

Posts

To create a new post simply click on the tab “write” here you can create your firstblog pos. Give it a title and write your blog, insert a few pictures and you done. Updated blogs and posts are always shown on the front page of extreme blogs, so the more often you update and create new posts then the more often your blog will appear on the home page.

Widgets

Widgets are what can be placed down the left or right hand side of your blog such as news feeds, You?Tube videos, calendars, the tag cloud, links and many more. Some widgets have further options, by where you can edit the title of the widget and select the YouTube videos you want to display on your site.

To place a widget on the side bar simply select the presentation tab and then widgets from the sub menu. Now just select which one you wish to show by dragging them across onto the side bar within the admin panel then click save/update. The widgets will now display on your blog replacing the default list.

Youtube

If you have uploaded videos to YouTube then you can show these from your blog using the YouTube widget. Simply drag the widget into your side panel using the widget manager. Then click on the widget whilest in the side bar (all this is done from the admin panel) a new window should now appear and you can place your YouTube link in here, using this format. {YouTubeID}@{Your Video Title} NOTE: DO NOT place your code in brackets like this example. To add more than one video to your sidebar place one link per line ie:

{YouTubeID}@{Your Video Title}
{YouTubeID}@{Your Video Title}
